NMBS #2 in the books

The Nova National is always a race to see in who's in early season top form and this year it didn't disappoint. Team 3D ad a strong showing in the XC with Adam taking 20th, unfortunately Chad was in the same boat as about half the Pro mens field suffering from the desert heat and having to pull out a lap early. All in all the team is looking strong for this 2008 season, so far Adam is 15th overall in the series and Chad is ranked well within the top 70 in his first Pro season.

With the season in full swing now we have quite a busy schedule of upcoming races including the first mountain states cup in Fruita, CO and Sea Otter coming up in the next two weeks.

Thanks for reading,

Let the games begin

Well the 2008 season has begun. Chad and I hit the first round of the NMBS series in Fontana CA last weekend. When we stepped off the plane at the Ontario airport we were hit with the breathe taking view of the majestic smoggy mountains of southern California. After we deplaned we picked up the rental and quickly found our way to our exquisite accommodation's in the quit town of Fontana. After a good night of coma sleep at sea level we hit the course for a little pre-ride sesh and did some openers for the next days big XC. When Saturday came around we were a little nervous considering it was the first race of the year. I had a great call up in the third row and Chad didn't have the best of call ups due to the fact that it was his first pro race. In the end both of us had some decent results for the first race of the year especially for this early in the season. Chad ended up placing 59th in his first Pro race heck yea! and I placed 19th (I've got to get out of that 19th place funk and move up). Sunday was the STXC and both of us had ok results placing 34th, and 65th. Monday we flew out and made it back to town unscathed but a little jumbled up from the turbulent skies.

Now we are in Phoenix for the second round of the NMBS series. Yesterday was the Super D and the to of us had some very sub par results but we have the STXC and XC to redeem ourselves.

Wish us luck,
Adam
